Čara je eno najstarejših naselij na otoku Korčuli. To starodavna vas vinogradnikov s približno 700 prebivalci se nahaja 25 km od mesta Korčula ob glavni otoški cesti. Zgrajena je na južnem pobočju hriba, pod katerim je veliko, rodovitno polje z vinogradi. Tam gojijo posebno vrsto grozdja - Pošip. Tam se nahaja tudi vinska klet in kmetijska zadruga, ki proizvaja znano vino istega imena.

Čara je jedno od najstarijih naselja na otoku Korčuli. Ovo drevno naselje vinogradara s oko 700 žitelja udaljeno od grada Korčule cestom 25 km nalazi se uz glavnu otočnu prometnicu. Izgrađeno je na južnoj padini brijega podno kojega se prostire veliko, plodno polje s vinogradima. Tu se uzgaja posebna vrsta grožđa - Pošip. U mjestu je i vinarski podrum i poljoprivredna zadruga koja proizvodi istoimeno glasovito vino.

Cara ist eine der ältesten Siedlungen auf der Insel Korcula. Dieses alte Winzerdorf mit etwa 700 Einwohnern liegt 25 km von der Stadt Korcula entfernt an der Hauptstraße der Insel. Es wurde am Südhang des Hügels erbaut, unter dem sich ein großes, fruchtbares Feld mit Weinbergen befindet. Dort wird eine besondere Rebsorte - Posip - angebaut. Es gibt auch einen Weinkeller und eine landwirtschaftliche Genossenschaft, die den berühmten gleichnamigen Wein produziert.
