Zeugnisse der antiken slawischen Kultur sind auch in den Ortsnamen der Hügellandschaft erhalten, die man von Gračišće – Peruns Stadt auf dem Berg – aus sehen kann. Gračišće, Perunčevac, Dol, Lug und Dumbrova sind Ortsnamen, die dieses Gebiet von den alten Slawen geerbt hat, die diese Gebiete zu Beginn des Mittelalters besiedelten und die Stadt Gračišće auf der Klippe über dem riesigen Dol errichteten.

In einem kleinen Dorf mit vier Häusern wurde uns ein renoviertes Steinhaus angeboten, dessen Eigentümer mit der Vermietung beschäftigt sind. Im Erdgeschoss des Hauses gibt es eine Taverne mit Kamin, ein Badezimmer mit Dusche und ein Schlafzimmer. Im Erdgeschoss befindet sich außerdem ein großer Abstellraum. Im ersten Stock gibt es eine Küche mit Esszimmer, zwei Schlafzimmer und ein Badezimmer. Das Haus wurde komplett mit hochwertigen Materialien renoviert. Das Haus ist außerdem mit einer wunderschönen Ballade geschmückt. Im Garten ist Platz für einen Swimmingpool.

Gračišće developed on the site of an Old Slavic cult site dedicated to Perun - the god of thunder. The memory of his veneration is preserved in the name of the nearby hill - Perunčevac. In the city, Svantevit was worshiped as Perun's divine person, whose place was later taken by St. Vid, with St. Modest and Cresencija, the patron saint of Gračišće parish.
